CURING TRAPPED WIND

CURING TRAPPED WIND

There can be few jobs more disheartening than renewing antifreeze. You drain the old coolant out, carefully mix the new stuff up, pour it in gently, and then your engine has an airlock and throws it out all over your drive.
Air locks have always been a problem in cooling systems, and they're even more so on today's engines. But Garage Equipment Technologies has come up with a clever, and very simple, solution to the problem: get rid of the air and you can't have airlocks!
Like a cooling system pressure tester, Airlift II locks onto your radiator top or expansion tank filler. Then it uses compressed air, through a venturi, to create a vacuum in the entire cooling system. Next step is to simply place the feed tube in a tub of ready mixed antifreeze, open the valve, and let the negatively pressured water jackets suck the fluid into all the darkest corners.
Another advantage of the tool is that any leaks in your cooling system will immediately show up, as the vacuum pressure will only stay constant in a completely sealed system.

Nitro Power spark plugs are fresh in from the other side of the Atlantic and their manufacturer claims, in test conditions, they'll give up to 20% better fuel economy, 80% less emissions, and 15% more power. Sound too good to be true?
Well C-Tech, the UK importers, point out that, on average, 9.5% of sparks from conventional plugs are 'poor burns'. Nitro Power plugs are cryogenically treated, which involves immersion in ultra cold liquid nitrogen. C-Tech claim this treatment modifies the molecular structure of the metals used, which, in turn, increases electrical conductivity and reduces those 'poor burns' right down.
